Security Upgrades to O’Maley Middle School and Gloucester High School
The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, Bid #21115, for security upgrades to OMS & GHS, includes reconfiguration of the main entries, to include new security systems, new exterior storefront and entry systems, etc. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price. DCAMM Certified Contractors are sought for the following category: "General Building Construction”. DCAMM Certified Subcontractors are sought for the following categories of work: Metal Windows, Tile, Acoustic Ceilings, Resilient Flooring, painting and Electrical. Sub Bids are due and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, 9 Dale Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930 no later than Jan. 20, 2021 at 11:00 am. General Bids are due and will be opened at the same address no later than Jan. 28, 2021 at 11:00 am. Digital transmission may be received by contacting . There will be a virtual pre-bid meeting on Jan 7, 2021 @ 3:00 pm. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
