Dog licenses for 2013, which are required by state law, will be available for purchase from the City Clerk's office in early March 2013.
The license fee, beginning with the 2013 license, has been changed from $22.50 for all dogs to $15.00 for all dogs that are spayed or neutered and $16.00 for all dogs that are not spayed or neutered. Licenses may be requested by mail with forms that are included with the annual city census. Census forms for 2013 will be mailed by the week of January 21st.
Mailed requests must include $1.00 for the postage and handling for each dog. The deadline for obtaining a 2013 dog license is April 30th. After April 30th a $10.00 late fee per license will apply.
