[ARCHIVED] Eastern Equine Encephalitis-PSA

Eastern Equine Encephalitis, or Triple E, is a rare but very serious disease transmitted through the bite of a mosquito. People who survive the disease will often be permanently disabled.
Protect yourself and your family from mosquito borne illnesses like Triple E by avoiding going outdoors between dusk and dawn when mosquitoes are most active. You can also protect yourself by wearing long pants and sleeves and insect repellent. Make sure your doors and windows have screens.
This is a message from the Cape Ann Emergency Planning Team and the Cape Ann Boards of Health.
