Free Art Classes with Cape Ann Art Haven

Join Cape Ann Art Haven every Monday from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the Riverdale Park Community Center to create a new art project and have fun! These classes are FREE and open to children in kindergarten through 8th grade.
The Gloucester Youth Leadership Council is back in action! We are looking for middle and high school students to join this effort to make positive social change in the community. This group is youth-led, fun, and free! You can earn community service hours, hang out with other students, and even earn a stipend for your work. Fill out this brief Google Form to get started or reach out to David Tucker, Youth Development Coordinator, through the Contact Us Form.

October 28th is National Drug Takeback Day! The Gloucester Health Department, Gloucester Police Department, and Rose Baker Senior Center are teaming up to host this biannual event. Stop by and drop off your unused prescription medication and help keep our community safe! The Health Department will be there and will provide educational resources about substance use prevention and treatment, and staff will be available to answer any questions or direct residents to appropriate resources.

Join the Prevention Team on Thursday, August 17th from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the Cape Ann YMCA for the first Gloucester Youth Leadership Council meeting of the school year!
This group is open to middle and high school students. Drop in, grab some snacks, and brainstorm ideas for projects YOU want to work on this year. We look forward to seeing you there!

Where's My Phone? What Parents Need to Know about Social Media and Screen Time

Community members are invited to attend a presentation about the impact of social media use on teen mental health and learn how parents and caregivers can promote healthy boundaries around screen time. The Regional Youth Prevention Network is proud to co-sponsor this event with Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals - Beth Israel Lahey Health. This event is free and open to all! Free food and childcare will be provided.
