Public meeting about the archaeological survey of Dogtown.
This is an informational meeting about a grant-funded archaeological survey of Dogtown that is currently underway for the purpose of defining Dogtown as a National Register District.

The presenters were Betsy Friedberg Director of the National Register of Historic Places program for Massachusetts, and Kristen Heitert, the lead consultant from the Public Archaeology Laboratory in Providence RI, which is conducting the survey and preparing the National Register nomination.  Betsy will explain the National Register program, and Kristen will present a preliminary plan for Dogtown National Register District.
