Citizen Public Service Request

SeeClickFix Inc., is a place-based reporting platform which allows residents to document neighborhood concerns and improvements alike, from potholes, illegal  dumping, flooding and damaged sidewalks. Online Permitting

The City has begun adopting electronic permitting, currently permits are available from the Office of Inspectional Services and Dog Licenses via the Clerks Office. 

Credit Card Fees

You can always choose to apply online, then pay in person during the department's Office Hours. To pay online with credit card, a surcharge of 2.99% plus $0.99 will be added to your permit fee.

Bills, Payments & Financial Queries


The Munis Citizen Self Service Portal (launched June 2018) will allow payments and research of Real Estate and Personal Property Bills.
Payments can be made via eCheck (No Fee), Visa Debit ($3.95 Flat Fee), or by major credit cards (scale based on purchase total, fee schedule).

  • Utility Bills, (currently only working in Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org)) and to see summary property information and building permits issued. To make a payment select "Make a Payment" under the "Online Actions" menu.

    **July 1, 2019**  - As part of the fiscal year change, and part of the City's transition to a new Utility Billing System, the online portal has been taken offline during this phase of the project. Payments can still be made in-person at 9 Dale Ave, and by mailing payment - per the instructions on your utility bill.  If you need information about your Real Estate, Personal Property or past due Utility Bill balances, please contact the Collectors Office, (978) 281-9735.  If you have other questions about your Utility Services, such as past consumption, please contact the DPW (978) 325-5600.

    Utility Bills will become available online again in the same portal as Real Estate and Personal Property in July

  • Assessor's Data. An external site which contains details of parcels from our Assessors department database.
