The Information Technology Department provides technology, communication services and solutions to City departments with a goal of empowering departments to deliver services more efficiently and effectively. The IT Department is focused on modernizing the City of Gloucester’s Information and Technology infrastructure, in order to provide enterprise class systems for the growing needs of City employees, Gloucester’s residents, and guests.
The IT Department will place notices here for any information related to system outages or maintenance issues.

|| Due to a software issue with our online bill pay system. All major web browsers with the exception of Mozilla Firefox, are being blocked from accessing the system.

Contacting the Help Desk:
City Employees, which include all departments except Police, Fire and Schools, have the City’s Information Technology Department at their disposal for any issue related to their computer, phone, mobile device or any other technology managed by the Information Technology Department.

The IT Department is the the first point of contact for the Fire Department. IT provides support for email accounts to the Police Department.
