2018 RETAIL LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICANTS
If you are having issues accessing the CORI Form by the link in the renewal letter, please go to www.mass.gov/abcc to access the CORI FORM from the listing on the webpage.


NOTICE
Beginning Sunday, November 19, 2017 the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission will no longer accept paper checks as payment for applications and permits.  Payments must be made online by using either a personal or business check (ACH).  Once your online payment is completed, you must print the confirmation receipt and include that receipt with your application to the Local Licensing Authority.  Payment may be made by going to:  http://www.mass.gov/abcc/epay.htm

THIS CHANGE APPLIES ONLY TO PAYMENTS TO THE STATE, NOT TO THE LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY.

REMINDER
Extension of hours applications for New Year's Eve must be submitted to the Clerk of the Board ten (10) days in advance of either the November 14 or December 12, 2017 meeting.  Late applications will not be considered.

The City of Gloucester's Licensing Board consists of three Members, a Special Investigator, and a Clerk of the Board.

Mission Statement

To provide a community service to the City of Gloucester in processing, overseeing, and renewing the licenses for hundreds of establishments of various categories.  Among the types of licenses are; Common Victualler (Alcohol and Non-Alcohol), Package/Convenient Stores (Alcohol), Lodging Houses, Inn Holders, Bed and Breakfasts, Weekday and Sunday Entertainment, Automatic Amusements, and Special One-Day Alcohol Licenses. 

Our Goal
Our goal is to serve the various license holders throughout the City of Gloucester and to ensure that all segments of Chapter 138 and Chapter 140 of the Massachusetts General Laws are adhered to.

Our Objective
Our objective is to prevent infractions of the law and to ensure that licensees do not exceed the limits of their license.
