The Clean City Commission consists of seven members and two alternates appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.
The purpose of the Clean City Commission shall be to keep the city beautiful by the following ways:
Organize and direct volunteer efforts to keep the city beautiful;
Keep the Mayor and appropriate city departments informed of the maintenance and beautification needs of public property;
Work with all city departments, including the Department of Public Works; the Department of Parks and Recreation; the School Department; the Conservation Commission and the Waterways Board.
